Durga Puja is a Hindu festival celebrating the Mother Goddess and the victory of the warrior goddess Durga over Mahishasura. The festival represents the feminine energy as 'Shakti' in the universe. It is a celebration of good over evil. Durga Puja is one of the great festivals of India. Durga Puja is a festival of union of rich and poor, male and female, young and old, all people of the society. All people irrespective of their caste and financial status celebrate and enjoy this festival. One such poor street child was watching the idol of Goddess Durga being made on the side of the road. There is a lot of hope in the eyes of that street child who will be happy like everyone else, wear new clothes and enjoy the festival.

Child labour work in brick of Bangladesh for livehood.

Garbage, the Children and Death. A poor boy collecting garbage waste from a landfill. children work at these sites to earn their livelihood. Everyday he collect waste plastic from garbage in Bangladesh sell them to garbage recyclers for money. Although child labor is officially prohibited, many girls and boys from the slums have no other choice. Children as young as seven paddle across the mountain of garbage. They risk their health and often their lives when searching the contaminated garbage for anything of value in order to secure their existence.
