The Tiny Orange Skipper

The Tiny Orange Skipper

Jumping around the few flowers of the desert, this tiny butterfly may be a challenge to photograph, but with a bit of patience it was worth it. They may be tiny, but they help along all other insects to pollinate some flora of the desert, it is always cool to see their bright orange color decorate the micro-landscape.

The species in picture is Froglet of Gliding Frog sitting on a leaf. I have taken this picture in night and i have done some backlight using torch behind the leaf so that leaf glows and we can also see the internal skeleton of the froglet.
