- Syndication: Picrooma allows for the RSS syndication of all of its public content within the Picrooma website.
- With Your Consent: Except as noted above, we will contact you when your personal information is shared with third parties or used for a purpose incompatible with the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected, and you will be able to opt out to prevent the sharing of this information.
Keeping Information Secure
Your Picrooma account information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. Protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by logging off once you have finished using a shared computer.
Only employees who need personal information to perform a specific job (for example, a customer service representative) are granted access to it. All of our employees are kept up to date on our privacy and security practices.
Ways to Control Display and Use of Your Information

Children Under 18 Years of Age
You must be 18 years and older to register to use the Picrooma website. As a result, Picrooma does not specifically collect information about children. If we learn that Picrooma has collected information from a child under the age of 17, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. We recommend that minors between the ages of 14 and 18 ask and receive their parents permission before using Picrooma or sending information about themselves or anyone else over the Internet.

Every day, Elite Gallery s editors select photos based on creative innovation, composition, concept, and other factors.
How is the artist of the week selected?
Editors choose one photographer of the week out of all the photos published in the Elite Gallery
What is that icon cup in the header?
To rank on the site, you have to compete with other photographers and score points called Point.
Here’s the breakdown of points for each award category:
- 1000 points for 1st Jury Awards
- 700 points for 2nd Jury Awards
- 400 points for 3rd Jury Awards
- 200 points for HM Jury Awards
- 500 points for People Awards
- 50 points for Best Artist of the Week
- 10 points for Best Photo of the Day
The total of all points earned in various competitions determines the Grand Prize winner and the 25 Best Photographers of the Year.
What is the coin icon in the header?
Those are your scores, which I explained below how you can get and where to spend it.
Here’s how you can earn scores on Picrooma:
- Liking a photo in Explorer: 5 scores
- Commenting in Explorer: 5 scores
- Participating in each match: 20 scores
- Voting in a contest: 10 scores per vote
- Commenting during voting: 40 scores
- Inviting friends to register on the site: 40 scores
With your scores, you can upgrade your account or receive a shopping gift card from Amazon at the website store.
Format Guidelines
- sRGB or Adobe 1998 colour space, 8-bit
- JPG format
- 300 dpi
- Must be equal to 1980px (longer side)
- No watermarks
- No copyright remarks or logos on images
- Images without borders
- Photos that do not comply with the rules of the competition will be deleted.
- Your deleted credits will be uploaded back to your account.

All photographs uploaded to PICROOMA remain the intellectual property of the original photographer under the International Copyright Act. The uploader must be the copyright owner or have the owner’s express permission to upload the photograph.

Uploaders are solely responsible for any copyright infringements resulting from their uploads. PICROOMA is not responsible for verifying the copyright ownership of every image uploaded on our site.

By uploading an image, you warrant and represent that you own all rights to the image or you have obtained necessary permissions from the copyright owner to upload and use it on PICROOMA

In case of any copyright infringement claims, the uploader will bear all legal and financial responsibility. PICROOMA is immune from all liability arising from such infringements.

Any misuse of copyright material should be reported immediately to PICROOMA through our Contact page. We will promptly take appropriate actions which may include removal of the image and temporary or permanent ban of the offender.

Commercial use, including sale or redistribution of photographs from PICROOMA is strictly prohibited unless expressly allowed by the copyright owner.

Any participant in a competition who infringes on copyright will be disqualified, stripped of any prizes or recognition, and could be banned from future competitions.

PICROOMA reserves the right to change these rules at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the user to make sure they are up to date with the current rules.

Are there any restrictions on the timeframe during which the photos were taken?
There are no restrictions regarding the date your photo was taken. The crucial factor is the outcome/result.
Do you know the prizes and achievements of the competition?
- The Best Photographer of the Year, who has garnered the most points across all competitions, will be awarded $2,000 and a Crystal Trophy.
- The most outstanding works from all competitions will be printed in a yearly book, selected by our editors.
- The top 25 photographers globally will each receive a Crystal Trophy.
- Participants can also collect Badges of Excellence and earn Honors of Excellence points.

Who is eligible to participate in the competition?
The PICROOMA Competition is open to professional and Amateurs photographers worldwide who are 18 years old and above. To maintain impartiality during voting, working judges are not allowed to participate in the contest. Judges can only enter the competition when they are not assigned to judge any entries.
